Realty Valuers Ltd provides Real Estate Valuation and Advisory services in Mauritius. Our team consists of Chartered Valuation Surveyors, duly qualified as members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the globally recognised professional body for surveyors.
We offer professional services for the valuation of a wide range of property types, for various purposes. These include the provision of valuation and advisory services for sales and acquisitions, financial reporting, secured lending (mortgage), tax disputes and litigation, amongst others.

Our team consists of individuals qualified from renowned tertiary institutions and is led by Gavin Patten and Shaneel Mungur.
Gavin Patten
Director | Chartered Valuation Surveyor
Gavin is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) qualified as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor since 2014. He is also qualified as an RICS Registered Valuer. He spent four years in the United Kingdom where he obtained an MSc in Real Estate Finance & Investment from the Henley Business School of the University of Reading, UK and a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Sheffield, UK. He has been involved in the real estate valuation sector of Mauritius since 2011 and has previously held the position of Head of Valuations in an international real estate firm operating in Mauritius. He had also previously set up his own local real estate valuation company and has developed an extensive knowledge of the local and national market. He has a wide range of experience in the valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural properties and hotels. He has also appeared as expert witness in several litigation cases.
Shaneel Mungur
Director | Chartered Valuation Surveyor
Shaneel is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) qualified as a Chartered Valuation Surveyor. He is also qualified as an RICS Registered Valuer. He spent four years in the United Kingdom where he obtained an MSc in Real Estate from the Henley Business School of the University of Reading, UK and a BSc (Hons) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham, UK. He has been involved in the real estate valuation sector of Mauritius since 2018 and has previously held the position of valuation executive in an international real estate firm operating in Mauritius, where he was leading the valuation department. He has also held the position of director in other firms. He has an extensive knowledge of the national market and has wide range of experience in the valuation of residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural properties and hotels.
